For those people that tend to attach a document to everything in SAP Business One, we got a great tip for you.
With the Copy Attachment to Target Document feature in SAP Business One, you can use the “Copy To” function to create a new document based in a previous one while keeping the attached file.
With this feature, you can maintain a sort of log with relevant documents to the transaction process.
To start, we need to enable the option by opening the “Administration” module, then “System Initialization” and selecting “Document Settings”
After opening the “Document Settings” we need to check the “Copy Attachment from Base Document to Target Document” option almost at the bottom of the window.
Now, in the Attachments tab in your A/R and A/P documents, you can find a “Copy to Target Document” column that you can check if you need to carry over that document to base or target documents.
